Lev Peker brings an exceptional blend of senior executive leadership experience and proven industry capabilities in online retail to his role as Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of CarLotz. Mr. Peker previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of CarParts.com, a leading e-commerce provider of automotive parts and accessories, from January 2019 to April 2022. Prior to that, he gained vast cross-functional experience in e-commerce strategy and operations, marketing, and financial planning and analysis at customer-centric companies including Adorama Camera Inc., Sears Holding Corporation, and U.S. Auto Parts. Lev holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Southern California, an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a Certified Public Accountant for the State of California.

John Pendleton

Mr. Pendleton serves as Executive Vice President, Legal & Corporate Affairs. Previously he was a partner at DLA Piper for 11 years. Prior to joining DLA Piper, he was a partner at McCarter & English, where he practiced law from 1985-2010. Over his distinguished legal career he defended public and private companies in breach of contract, misrepresentation, ERISA, RICO, securities fraud, complex litigation and regulatory matters. John tried numerous cases throughout the United States and managed thousands of cases as national coordinating counsel for one of the largest financial service companies in the U.S. His clients have included Fortune 100 companies in financial services, pharmaceutical, real estate, leasing, insurance, and employee benefits areas. In addition, John is the former Mayor of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey and served as a member of its governing body for 8 years. He currently serves on the board of Washington & Jefferson College and is also a trustee of the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice. He graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 1984 and Washington & Jefferson College with a B.A. (magna cum laude) in 1981.

Mr. Atwater serves as the Vice President of Vendor Relations for PARTS ID, Inc. Previously he served as the Vice President of Vendor Relations Onyx Enterprises Int’l, Corp. before its business combination with Legacy Acquisition Corp. in November 2020 which then created PARTS iD, Inc. As Vice President of Vendor Relations, Mr. Atwater is responsible for the leadership of the Vendor Relations Department, management of Onyx’s vendor partners, pricing strategy, new product category development and carrier logistics. Since joining Onyx in 2011, Mr. Atwater has served in a variety of positions including General Manager and Director of Vendor Relations. Prior to joining Onyx, while serving in a variety of positions in the automotive industry, Mr. Atwater obtained experience in negotiating, purchasing, logistics and distribution, warehouse management, retail store management, automotive sales and e-commerce sales.

Mr. Gomes serves as the Chief Information Officer for PARTS iD, LLC. Previously he served as the Chief Technology Officer at CarParts.com and then as Chief Information Officer until March 2023. Sanjiv is a seasoned technologist and compassionate thought leader with over 25 years of experience. In his prior role as the CTO and CIO at Carparts.com, Sanjiv managed a team of more than 200 technology professionals. He guided this team through a significant digital technology transformation that resulted in Carparts.com impressive turnaround from $280 million to $660 million between 2019 and FY 2022. Sanjiv executed a comprehensive roadmap encompassing the flagship carparts.com ecommerce frontend, collapsing 22 websites, Backoffice and WMS systems, infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Contact Center and IT operations, all pivotal in supporting the company's expansion strategy. Sanjiv holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Goa University, India.

One of Eugene's defining career achievements is revitalizing and scaling businesses, notably transforming U.S. Auto Parts into CarParts.com and realizing double-digit growth. As CTO at CarLotz, he spearheaded technology-driven strategic initiatives, ushering the company toward profitability. Eugene's technical mastery is evident through his contributions to companies such as Media Temple, a GoDaddy Subsidiary, Virtual Piggy, Cie Games, and DocMagic. With a deep technical foundation and a history of industry innovation, he remains a pivotal figure in the technological landscape. Eugene holds a BA in Computer Science from California State University, Los Angeles.

Mr. Simitian serves as the Chief Merchant for PARTS ID, LLC. Previously he served as the Senior Vice President, Data, Catalog and Marketplace for CarParts.com, from January 2019 to August 2023. Mr. Simitian spent over 25 years with CarParts.com across numerous senior roles and have gained vast experience in management, development and execution of the automotive parts catalog that was the driving force of CarParts.com. In addition, he gained experience in the marketplaces division, managing large complex catalogs over 100 million records. He has expert knowledge in the latest automotive data and catalog standards.
